About Cox Tool SERVICE

Complementing and expanding the product mix.

Cox Tool Service, Inc. began as H. Russ Cox Tool in a garage in Norwood, Ohio.  Russ Cox had a mix of new and used cutting tools in inventory. Albert (Bert) Riehle purchased the business in 1976 changing the name to Cox Tool Service and moved the business to Milford, Ohio.

Bert worked to bring a wide variety of products into the inventory. His goal was to complement and expand the product mix to make a more comprehensive tool offering for Cox Tool Service's customers.

Bert sold the business in 1987 to his children Fred Riehle and Joanna Riehle-Robinson. Fred brought his machine shop background and experience to the company. Joanna added her accounting and marketing experience to the company.

Cox Tool Service has evolved through the years offering a broad range of products that help machine shops and maintenance shops meet the demands of their customers. Cox Tool Service prides itself on its friendly customer support, prompt and knowledgeable service, and a large product inventory.
